Rene Lalique started his career in jewellery in the 1880's. The artist jeweller became the absolute master of the Art Nouveau jewel, in which he blended symbolism and naturalism with long-abandoned techniques and materials to please contemporary tastes.
Re-launched in 1989, Lalique Jewellery still pleases contemporary tastes; fresh bright colours, contrasting satin and shiny finishes with soft smooth feminine shapes show a style uniquely Lalique.
